365 Challenge day 50; God Speaks

365-50

The Bible says:
Psalm 30:5b (King James Version)..."weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning."

This has been so true for me.

Today was a new day, with a new perspective. It is amazing how the Lord can speak and give such peace.

These past couple of days, it has been difficult to process all of the details of my daughter's surgery. We found out that her surgery is needed on both curves, and she will be cut from neck right above her bum. Most of her spine will be fused. This is something I was not prepared to hear.

Yesterday I spent much time in prayer about it all.

This morning as I was blow-drying my hair, I had a little conversation with the Lord...prayerfully. I felt such peace and resolve come over me, and the assurance that God is in control.

Whether she comes through the surgery with flying colors, or if the Lord choses to take her home, I know that our daughter's life on this earth has been such a blessing. I also know that if the Lord takes her home to be with Him, she will be free from this earth of trials and pain. God may choose to deliver her this way too. Or He may still miraculously heal her! All things are possible. I trust that His ways are better than my ways.

So, we continue to pray for God's healing, in whatever way He choses.

Either way, whatever happens, I will praise Him as my Lord and Savior.

That is one of my absolute favorite verses, but so hard to "remember" during trials and tribulations.
You are so strong to post what you did....it takes alot of courage for a mother to accept God's Will in whatever He would choose to do. I am so glad to hear that you are at peace.
Your little girl will be in our prayers daily. I am believing God for a total physical healing for her. Our God is a Great God!
Take care!
