A long day.
My daughter's appointment with her scoliosis surgeon was today to finalize her surgery date, and to discuss the surgery in more detail.
Not liking the report we got from the new x-ray of today. Both curves in her back are going to have to be corrected with two titanium rods. The surgeon will cut her back from the base of her neck, down to her tailbone...major (open back) surgery. :(
The mama in me is inwardly crying out about it, but being strong in front of her.
Too much to process right now...all I can do is leave it in the Lord's hands.
I'll write more tomorrow...Time for rest.
(Me...with blonde hair... and my girl in Spring of 2007 at my husband's graduation. He graduated with a Master's of Divinity/concentration in Pastoral Care and Counseling at Gardner Webb University. :)

I hope all goes well and that both you and Jordan find strength in this time.
Jenn- just wanted you to know I'm thinking of you!
Thank you both so much!
I still cry when I think of Bria's surgery. Seeing your child go through pain like that is just hard. But you will make it! And it will be the best for her in the end.
