It does make me miss the mountains a little bit, (we are now on the east coast) because I really enjoy the brilliant turning of leaves...the mountains will at times look aflame. The reds, oranges and yellows...God sure does know how to create a landscape!
Yesterday the children and I home-schooled, and picnic'd outside our home for lunch. Even though it was on our front porch, it still was a wonderful day of enjoying God's creation.
From where we were sitting, we could hear puppy dogs barking at each other in the distance, and birds chirping as if they were carrying on some grande' conversation... I'm certain they were! :)
We love this time of year. It is comfortable and cool! The sun is shining so bright, but not too intense to bear.

On a different note, you may be wondering about Josh's t-shirt. Well, he is a big fan of Fred on YouTube. Fred is the craziest dude, but if you watch it enough, it does make ya laugh...well, my husband David didn't find the humor, but I love to laugh. He's really hyper and my Josh can totally relate to the hyperactivity sometimes! In support of Fred, he created a matching T-Shirt. Fred also got Josh hooked on the 'Zipit' wireless device.

The weather here is definitely getting cooler! In fact, I'm thinking I need to invest in a warmer jacket!
